Weekly Meal Kit | May 8

We’re excited to share the meals we’ve crafted with you! Look for bright, fresh and bold flavors to dominate: like chermoula, an herby, piquant North African sauce similar to pesto; a bright, lemony spelt berry salad to mix into your greens-filled soup; and multitude of spices (ginger, cumin, coriander, star anise, clove, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, cardamom and Thai chile) of our cashew coconut chickpea curry. Our tastebuds can’t wait!  

Weekly Meal Kit | May 1

Anytime La Cosecha’s tortillas come around, we start counting down the days until we get to enjoy them! La Cosecha makes fresh tortillas with stone-ground local organic corn (from our friends at Meadowlark Organics), using traditional nixtamalization techniques. These tortillas are a real treat; so tender and delicious, full of actual corn flavor, they’re nothing like the mass produced corn tortillas you buy at the grocery store. You’ll taste the difference, no question!

We’re excited for this week’s flavor packed menu! Look for: shakshuka, eggs baked in a tomato-red pepper stew spiced with cumin and paprika, with some MSCo miche to sop up that delicious sauce; buffalo cauliflower & chickpea lettuce wraps with house-made ranch and a carrot-celery-apple chopped salad; and our go-to South African-inspired sweet ptoato peanut curry over brown rice. Add-in some tasty scones that can be baked up in a flash? Yep, can’t wait.

We hope you enjoyed the glorious weather this past week, because BRRRR. This return to rainy, cool weather is no joke. But! Never fear, because we have some cozy faves for you this week! Heart-warming bowls of local RP’s fusilli with roasted cauliflower and a creamy, flavor-packed sauce; piping hot classic three bean chili topped with freshly made tortilla chips from La Cosecha; and hearty roasted squash adobo from Milpa! Add in some brownies? Heaven!

We hope you enjoy this week’s menu! Everyone’s favorite chicken shawarma with a crisp, fresh apple and cabbage slaw and creamy toum (a garlic based sauce and SO tasty) is back! Then, we’re debuting a simple, garam-masala spiced Indian lentil dish over cilantro rice and topped with crispy coconut and fried shallots. And last, but certainly not least, we have classic shepherd’s pie!  We added in some dark chocolate macaroons, too. Because chocolate.

We have a GREAT line-up of meals that we’re excited to share with you! Look for: sopes (little oven-fried masa cakes) topped with chorizo and sweet potato with a tangy slaw; classic tomato basil soup and grilled cheese sammies; and takeout-style kung pao chicken with stir-fried peppers and celery, roasted peanuts, and a sweet, sour, and savory sauce! And, for a little taste of Spring, we’re throwing in carrot cake cupcakes, too. Does that sound good or what?

We have a GREAT line-up of meals that we’re excited to share with you! Look for: tempeh penyet rice bowls (featuring locally made tempeh) with sambal sauce and a bright and crunchy cucumber-cabbage salad; classic french cassoulet with a lemony kale salad; and smothered beef barbacoa burritos with roasted chile chipotle sauce! Add in a little cookie dough to enjoy freshly baked whenever you want? Oh happy day!

Get excited for a flavor-packed week of food, y’all. We want to slather that spiced tomato thyme jam on everything, we can wait to tear into Tart’sever-perfect buttery and flaky crusts, and we’re stoked about the creamy, peanutty and just spicy enough Senegalese-inspired mafé! Add in a white chocolate and lavender blondie that hints at a sweet Spring to come and we are in heaven. Eat up!

Weekly Meal Kit | March 16

We’re excited to about today’s menu, y’all! Bulgogi burgers (yes, even in late Winter, they are delicious always) with bright, crunchy toppings, warming posole rojo with classic sliced cabbage and radish, and a creamy, slightly spicy, buffalo mac and cheese (doesn’t it look SO good?). Plus, as an early St. Patrick’s Day treat, we added in a little Irish Cream Mousse. Yum. It’s going to be a good, good week!

Weekly Meal Kit | March 6

Get excited for a flavor packed menu this week, y’all. First up, a roasted salmon teriyaki rice bowl, with punchy garlic and ginger notes. Next is a salsa verde taco kit with our classic carnitas and a bright tangy slaw. Followed up with a chunky, squash soup with coconut, curry and chickpeas! Add in some roasted carrot muffins with spicy sweet chunks of candied ginger and the week is looking GOOD!
