Weekly Meal Kit | December 29

We’re excited that it’s almost the New Year! We look forward to our annual celebratory New Year’s fondue kit from Landmark Creamery with veggies from Winterfell Acres and seed & grain bread from Madison Sourdough all year long! And, when you throw in a smoky black-eyed pea soup to bring good luck, health, and abundance in the coming year and a new fave, chicken doria, a cheesy Japanese-style rice gratin? Well, the year is off to a GREAT start!

Hope your holiday week ahead will be filled with joy and delicious food, friends. We’re here to help with: an easy sheet pan dinner of chicken thighs and vegetables livened up with a gochujang marinade, adding salty, spicy and umami-rich layer of flavor; a warming bowl of tomato basil soup with grilled cheese sammies, for a classic comfort food meal; and, everyone’s fave shepherd’s pie  topped with our creamy, sarvecchio-laden mashed potatoes!

With a chilly week ahead, we’re packing our meal kits with all your fave warm and cozy foods! Get excited for our signature pizza kit with Italian sausage and Chef Joe’s giardiniera; a hearty Hungarian-style goulash, with big chunks of tender beef, carrots, potatoes, and loads of paprika over egg noodles with lemon pepper sour cream to top it; and a creamy butternut squash risotto filled with cranberry beans, greens and Vitruvian Farm’s oyster mushrooms!

Our menu this week is perfect for the wintery week ahead. Get excited for: pan-seared pork chop served atop creamy polenta with sautéed Winter Moon vegetables and a cranberry mostarda; our classic shakshuka, with eggs, roasted potatoes and pita to sop up all that tomatoey goodness; and our take on “marry me” chicken in a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce with roasted vegetables over rice! And, our Bakeshop made y’all a little holiday treat… toffee!

Get excited for: wild-caught Bering Bounty salmon in a crisp, everything-seasoning crust and served with a creamy, tangy caper sauce, couscous and roasted veggies; a squash and fontina galette from Tart enveloped in their signature flaky and buttery pastry crust with greens and a mustard vinaigrette; and a hearty, satisfying meal of classic beef barley soup!
