Raleigh’s Hillside Farm Fall Storage Share

Eating local vegetables year-round in Wisconsin can be a challenge. Thankfully there are many great vegetables that can be stored throughout the winter, and the folks at Raleigh's Hillside Farm have some storage shares available.

Storage shares include a mixture of some greens, like spinach, kale and/or lettuce, and a generous amount of storage-able items like: potatoes, onions, cabbage, leeks, carrots, beets, watermelon radish, purple top turnip, and celeriac. Boxes will also include whatever is in season at the time which depends a bit on weather, but will hopefully include peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, scallions, and other herbs.

This will be two large shares available for pick up at Pasture & Plenty, delivered on November 4th and 25th. (It will be two full sized share boxes so get some room ready in that fridge.) Raleigh's Hillside Farm will email everyone who signs up for this share with more information for delivery and pick up as the time gets closer and the season winds down.

The photo is from their large fall share in 2018. This year's bounty will look similar, but the box will be packed into two separate deliveries instead of one massive storage share.
