This page doesn’t do anything but is critical for being a target for flushing the permalink cache. This is needed because there is a bug in the event plugin which causes 404s on event pages after some period of time until the permalink cache is flushed. I don’t want to change the plugin code so this is a workaround. There is a cron job on the server that loads this page every hour.
