Contemplative Cooking: Summer Session
Thursday, July 16th | 6pm | $100 per person
What if slowing down in the kitchen could change the way you experience food entirely? That’s the heart of our new Contemplative Cooking series and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Led by Chef Felipe Saint-Martin, this series invites you to turn the kitchen into a place of quiet presence. Rather than rushing through recipes, you’ll slow down to notice the textures, aromas, and sensations of each ingredient as you work, building a deeper, more personal connection to the food on your plate. Think of it as mindfulness, but make it delicious.
For our Summer Session on Thursday, July 16th, Felipe will guide you through a menu that puts peak-season produce front and center. You’ll work through a cohesive seasonal spread:
- Chilled Sweet Corn Velouté
- Tomato-Peach Salad
- Sautéed Collard Greens with Boquerones
- Lemon-Shallot Fingerling Potatoes
- Baked Parmesan-Herb Crusted Fish
The evening begins with a chef-led cooking demonstration and hands-on meal preparation, and ends the best way we know how — everyone sitting down together for a proper dinner. You’ll leave with copies of all the recipes to bring the practice home.
Wine pairings and beverages will be available to purchase.
