Description
Grapes: 80% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Loire Valley, France
Notes: The nose is a powerful but elegant fragrance of blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, and blueberry. The sipping is delightfully uncomplicated with a lush roundness and the harmonious tannins leave the dark, ripe fruit notes sticking to your cheeks and a leathery finish.
This bottle is from fourth-generation winemaker Pascal Biotteau. The grapes hail from the village of Saint-Jean-des-Mauvrets, situated on the old Roman road from Angers to Poitiers in the Loire Valley wine region of France. No additives or unnecessary chemicals are used making this wine! It’s aged in stainless steel, which leaves the juice approach-ably drinkable. From the Mary Taylor Collection!
