From winemaker Erin Rasmussen in Mineral Point, WI comes this sparkling white that is a beautiful expression of the opportunities offered by working with flavorful table grape varieties. This Petillant naturel made with 100% Somerset Seedless grapes, an Elmer Swenson variety. Somerset is technically classified as a table grape (and is indeed seedless!). The skins are a bright magenta color and when pressed the juice runs the color of pink lemonade. Leaner, with notes of watermelon rind and cinnamon.
