Grapes: Barbera (dominant), Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Piedmont, Italy
Vinification: Certified Vegan & USDA Organic. Hand harvested. The grapes are crushed & undergo classic maceration and fermentation in tanks with indigenous yeast. Light filtration, no fining. No added sulfites.
Notes: A Ruby red color with garnet tinges. This brambly, funky wine has a heady aroma with scents of ripe fruit. Warm, soft taste, spicy at the finish. The label is an Andy Warhol portrait of the winemakers cousin!
