EMERGENCY BAKE SALE TO SUPPORT UKRAINE

In light of the recent invasion of Ukraine, we are gathering our baker community to fundraise for those who are providing food, shelter, transportation and medical services at border crossings and on the front lines. The Bakers Against Racism campaign has called for an emergency activation as millions of Ukrainians flee to safety in neighboring countries. Black and brown Ukrainians and international students have faced even greater discrimination and barriers as they seek refuge from the attack. We are in solidarity with ALL people fleeing Ukraine, and anyone escaping dangerous wars, oppression, and unsafe living conditions around the world. Please join us in baking this world a better place!

Proceeds from this Bake Sale will be donated to the World Central Kitchen and their work to serve meals to Ukrainians fleeing the Russian invasion. WCK is set up to serve meals at eight border crossings across the country, as well as supporting eight local restaurants preparing meals in Ukrainian cities. Learn more about their important work to nourish those involved in humanitarian crises around the world.
