Mad City ACF presents

Eating Local: Local Farm and Producer Sourcing & Seasonal Menu Planning

Join us on Wednesday, May 8th for Eating Local: Local Farm and Producer Sourcing & Seasonal Menu Planning with the Mad City Chapter of the American Culinary Federation

Mad City ACF's monthly meeting is going to be here at Pasture and Plenty! Join us for a presentation, conversation and locavore buffet dinner with P&P Owner Christy McKenzie and Head Chef Jack Huibregste all about local farm and producer sourcing and seasonal menu planning! The event will also feature Madison College Culinary Grads: Sous Chef Ashley Knipshield, Production Lead Grace Ganser and Pastry Chefs Liz Vande Hey & Karen Veliz Orsorio.

Here at P&P, we are deeply committed to building community in our local food system. Over the past six years, we have invested more than $2 million dollars in local food purchasing — from farmers, cheesemakers, tortilleros, brewers, pasta rollers, jam preservers, pig farmers, chicken wranglers, beef herders and bread bakers. We look forward to sharing how and why we make this commitment to bringing local food to the table.
