Notes: Known as the “Italian Zinfandel”, Primitivo is quite rich and more tannic than its Stateside counterpart. With vanilla notes, dark ripe berries, baked red fruit, rhubarb, and red cherries that mingle with dried cranberries, nutmeg and dried figs for a juicy easy drinks, easy going night wine. Good with a slight chill.
