- Crimson Crisp: This great apple is a 2005 product of the PRI Product Partners. As its name suggests, it has crisp, crunchy, dense flesh that holds a lot of juice. Crimson Crisp’s flavors are straightforward and refreshing: more tart than sweet with a bit of cane sugar, orange and spice. Great for fresh eating if you like a tart, brisk apple experience. Also used for juice/cider. Keeps well if refrigerated.
- Daybreak Fuji: An early variety of Fuji discovered at Twin Springs Fruit Farm in Orrtanna, PA. All of the sweet, sugar-rush Fuji flavor you expect, just available earlier in the season — which makes it perfect for Wisconsin. Simply sweet fresh-eating!
