Kadi and Kudi is a Madison-based pop-up for Kerala food run by owner Shar, who is originally from Kerala — a coastal state on the Southern tip of India. Kadi & Kudi's philosophy is simple — whipping up their favorite comfort foods from Kerala, reimagined in the mid-western landscape, using local ingredients, to be served in a small, intentional, and intimate setting. The food is a celebration of spices, delving into the rich history of the land, weaving together recipes and stories passed down from generations, and experimenting with their own interpretations.
