In this interactive session, you will discover various ethnic spices and flavors through a unique approach that will challenge your senses! You will also learn about new flavor profiles, what makes these spices interesting and how to use ethnic spices to cook Indian cuisine to diversify your menu. Sara will teach you how to ‘Cook like her mom’, using the right spices, in the right quantity and the right sequence to create the perfect flavor profile for the most aromatic gastronomic experience.
Sara and her husband, Partha, developed Flavor Temptations Indian food spice sets that contain Sara’s mom’s authentic Indian recipes and organic ethnic spices, conveniently measured out. Their products are sold in many grocery stores in Madison including Metcalfe’s , Willy Street Coop, Whole Foods, Festival Foods and Hy-Vee. Sara was born in Chennai in South India and grew up on various Air Force bases in North India, learning to appreciate the art of Indian cooking from her mom, Rajee, who is a fabulous cook!
